Research Fellow at the Department of Mechanical, Energy, Managerial and Transport Engineering (DIME) of the University of Genova within the programme “Energy optimization of air conditioning in urban areas through trigeneration”, Davide Borelli earned a Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Genova and a Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering.
He is Adjunct Professor of “Numerical Techniques for Acoustical Modeling” and “Applied Thermodynamics Applications to Plant Components” at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Genova.
In 2007 he started a collaboration as a freelance with the TEC Division of the Department of Industrial Production, Thermo-energy, Engineering and Mathematical Modeling (DIPTEM) of the University of Genova to develop a data acquisition system for measuring the Insertion Loss produced by linear dissipative silencers.
His primary research interests are computer techniques for noise/acoustic modeling, noise reduction and acoustics in general.
He is author of many scientific papers on these topics.
